Nigerian strategic communications and business growth professional, Abiola Jinadu-Matthew, has unveiled The Candid Life, an integrated ecosystem designed to connect strategic communications, education, mentorship, faith-based community building and technology, with its digital platform scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2027.

The ecosystem brings together four initiatives — The Candid Life Services Limited, The Candid Life Foundation, The Candid Christian Community and The Candid Life App — which Jinadu-Matthew said were developed from more than a decade of experience in communications, marketing, partnerships, business growth, mentorship and community development.

According to her, the initiative is driven by a central objective of helping individuals and organisations gain access to the clarity, connections, resources and support required to achieve sustainable growth.

“Over the years, I have worked with organisations trying to communicate their value and grow, young people trying to navigate education and careers, and women looking for genuine community and support,” she said.

“The Candid Life brings these experiences together around one central idea: helping people and organisations access the clarity, connections, resources and support they need to thrive.”

At the business end of the ecosystem is The Candid Life Services Limited, a strategic communications and growth firm providing services to businesses, non-profit organisations and institutions.

Its areas of operation include strategic communications, marketing strategy and execution, public relations, go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, partnerships and business growth, advocacy communications, research, content development and production, training and advisory services.

Jinadu-Matthew said the firm seeks to move beyond publicity-driven communication by helping organisations align their communication and marketing activities with wider business and organisational objectives.

The company recently secured a corporate digital advertising licence from the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, ARCON, while Jinadu-Matthew is also an Associate Member of the regulatory body.

She said the development reinforces the company’s commitment to responsible advertising and professionally grounded communications practice.

With experience working with startups, established businesses and non-profit organisations, Jinadu-Matthew said The Candid Life Services would focus during the second half of 2026 on supporting organisations with meaningful solutions but which require stronger visibility, structure and strategic direction to grow.

The company has set a target of partnering with at least 50 businesses and organisations requiring communications, marketing and business growth support.

The social impact component of the ecosystem, The Candid Life Foundation, is focused on education, mentorship, leadership development, career readiness and community engagement.

The Foundation is particularly targeted at secondary school students and young adults facing critical decisions around education, careers and their future.

Jinadu-Matthew said the Foundation would seek to move beyond individual mentorship interventions by developing structured programmes and partnerships capable of expanding access to practical guidance and opportunities for young people.

“Sometimes what changes the trajectory of a young person’s life is access — access to information, someone who believes in them, exposure to possibilities they did not know existed, or practical guidance at the right time,” she said.

“The Foundation is about helping to create more of those opportunities.”
The third arm, The Candid Christian Community, focuses on faith-based community building and has grown to more than 200 women, including members across different countries.

The community provides a platform for spiritual growth, prayer, Bible study, accountability, encouragement and relationship building through regular prayer meetings, fasting, fellowship and other activities.

Jinadu-Matthew said the community reflected her belief that personal growth was difficult to sustain without supportive relationships.

“People need spaces where they can be honest about where they are, grow in their faith, be encouraged and also encourage others,” she said.

The most technology-driven component of the ecosystem is The Candid Life App, which is currently under development and expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027.

The platform is being designed around community, personal growth, wellness and digital connection, with the objective of helping users discover trusted communities, organisations, resources, mentors and support systems.

It is also expected to provide organisations and community builders with tools to reach, engage and grow the communities they serve.

Jinadu-Matthew said the idea for the platform emerged from a recurring challenge she encountered in her professional and community work — the existence of valuable organisations, resources and opportunities that often remain inaccessible to the people who need them because they do not know where to find them.

“Whether someone is looking for a community, trying to grow spiritually, seeking guidance, navigating a difficult season or simply looking for resources that can help them move forward, finding trusted support should not have to be so difficult,” she said.

“The App is our attempt to use technology to make some of those connections easier and more meaningful.”

She explained that the four initiatives were not designed as independent ventures but as interconnected components of a broader ecosystem.
While The Candid Life Services focuses on helping organisations communicate and grow, the Foundation is aimed at equipping young people with education, mentorship and opportunities.

The Candid Christian Community provides a platform for women to grow spiritually and relationally, while the proposed app is intended to serve as digital infrastructure connecting individuals, organisations, communities, resources and opportunities.

Jinadu-Matthew said the wider vision was to build structures that could help individuals and organisations move from potential to meaningful and sustainable growth.

“Everything we are building comes back to people,” she said.

“How do we help an organisation doing meaningful work reach the people it was created to serve? How do we help a young person see possibilities for their future? How do we create communities where people can genuinely grow? And how can technology help us connect more people to the right support and opportunities?”

With the digital platform targeted for launch in the first quarter of 2027, the second half of 2026 is expected to be a major building phase for the ecosystem.
The Candid Life Services is expanding its organisational partnerships, the Foundation is developing its education and outreach programmes, while the Christian Community continues to expand its activities.

Jinadu-Matthew is also inviting businesses, institutions and non-profit organisations seeking strategic communications, marketing and growth support to explore partnerships with The Candid Life Services.

Individuals and organisations interested in education, mentorship and community development are similarly being encouraged to support the wider ecosystem.

“The vision is bigger than any one initiative,” she said. “We are building The Candid Life to become a place where people and organisations can find the clarity, community, connections and opportunities they need to grow — and we are only getting started.”
