The newly established Centre for Visionary Leadership and Human Capital Development has unveiled an ambitious agenda to develop ethical and visionary leaders and equip young Nigerians with the skills required to drive sustainable national development.

The Centre, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under CRN 9800186, was formally launched on Saturday by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sir Patrick Ezechukwu, PhD.

Speaking at the launch, Ezechukwu said the Centre was established in response to the growing need for purposeful leadership and a skilled human capital base capable of contributing meaningfully to national and global development.

He said the Centre would focus on building leaders who combine competence with integrity while creating opportunities for individuals, particularly young people, to acquire relevant skills for employment, entrepreneurship and community development.

According to him, the Centre’s mission, “Empowering Leaders, Developing People, Transforming Nations,” reflects its commitment to developing human capacity as a foundation for sustainable growth and ethical governance.

He said the Centre would provide programmes in education and training, youth empowerment, employability and entrepreneurship, ethical leadership and governance, community development, as well as social impact and sustainability.

Its core services will include leadership development, capacity building, human capital consulting, research and policy advocacy.

Ezechukwu further disclosed that participants who successfully complete the Centre’s training programmes would receive recognised certificates intended to enhance their professional opportunities and value in the labour market in Nigeria and beyond.

The Founder declared the Centre open for operations and called for collaboration among government agencies, development partners, the private sector, the media and members of the public to advance its objectives.

He said such partnerships would be critical to strengthening leadership capacity, developing people and creating sustainable impact across communities.

The Centre’s founding Directorate comprises Faisal Sanusi Ibrahim as Director General; Lt. Col. G.A. Banire (Rtd), Director of Operations; Capt. Dr. Luqman Gigado (Rtd), Director of Research and Training; Zubaidah Khalid, Director of Communications and Information; Ahmed A. Ahmed, Secretary; and Barr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ezechukwu, Legal Adviser.
