The All Progressives Congress (APC) has nominated a former Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, Hon. Segun Tomori, to its Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election.
Tomori will serve in the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate, where he is expected to coordinate support groups and mobilise grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
His nomination was announced in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Tade Collins, who said the council was scheduled for inauguration at the Presidential Villa later this week.
Tomori was part of the APC’s presidential campaign structure in 2019, when he served in the Field Operations Directorate. During the 2023 presidential campaign, he served as Team Lead of the Strategic Communications Directorate.
He is currently an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II.
Tomori is also the Founder and Principal Partner of Autumnhill Services and Chairman of the Abosede Tomori Foundation, through which he undertakes community development and humanitarian interventions.
